There's nothing I love more than to see a good blurb come together. I don't love my blurb very much.

[OS] Beyond The Snow

"Oddly soothing but also briefly disturbing"

date: December 3, 2009

In the beginning of the piece, I can feel the gentle, trickling notes interjected by loud, thunderous chords, perhaps the silence of solace interjected with short, possibly unwanted social events? Then the notes and the chords begin to meld together and become whole. The two sides of the song become one. The chords become gentler, and the single notes become more proactive and adventurous. The whole song is backed by long drawn-out breaths that occur throughout, which serves possibly as the driving wind that keeps the song going.

This is what I see, let me know if any of it was close.

In any event, it's a beautiful piece, very complexity-within-a-simplicity-within -a-complexity. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response:

That was pretty insightful. I like your perspective on it - and yes, you were pretty close with all of that.

lol "complexity-within-a-simplicity-withi n -a-complexity". That's an awesome description.

Thanks for your review, chaosportalfilms. And I will.

The Land of the Forgotten

"Epicawesome!"

date: December 2, 2009

I haven't been on the audio portal in a while, but this song was here to welcome me today. Thank you so much for making this, and thank you, newgrounds, for letting it be the first thing I heard after my long sabbatical from the audio portal. It's like listening to a final showdown between all of the manliest heroes of all time and the most powerful villains in existence.

I'm still suspicious, but I'll give you the benefit of a doubt. Anyway, it's pretty good, but a little anti-climactic

I've listened to three of your songs, and so far all of them have been stolen from another artist or ripped from a video game soundtrack.

"O.o You did this with Garageband?!"

submission: \Determination v2/

This really is high-quality for something that came out of Garageband. What instruments did you use/did you use any of the Jam Packs? It really sounds amazing. 10/10. 5/5.

Your absence has left in its wake a series of music that just doesn't measure up. Here's hoping you get the ratings you deserve, the praise you've earned, and a place in the highly coveted "Best of All Time" list.

This song is one of your perfections, and what's more, it came from the heart. Very few artists can achieve what you just did.
